I must say I am more than thrilled that I got chosen to host a Clorox Green Works Clothing Swap & House Party! This party is going to be tons of fun, and don't worry no one will be selling anything. This is nothing like a typical Pampered Chef, or Longaberger Party (even though we all love those)!!
Date of Clothing Swap: Saturday October 3rd
Time: 4:00 PM
What you should bring: Adult, Children, & Baby Clothing, Costumes, Shoes
Location: My house on Holloman AFB (must have base access - contact me for exact address)
Please RSVP!! I will be making 12 goodie bags, and these will go to the first 12 people who RSVP! Plus the first 12 people to RSVP will get a sample of Clorox Green Works Laundry Detergent to wash their clothing swap items in! The goodie bags will include Re-Usable Shopping Bags, Clorox Green Works samples & coupons, Burt's Bees lotion, lip balm samples & coupons, other coupons, some great tips, ideas, and I'm sure something sweet!!
If you are unsure of what a Clothing Swap is I will list some helpful information below!
Clothing Swap Information & Tips:
* A group of friends, family, or neighbors get together to exchange gently used/like new freshly laundered clothing items. It's like going shopping - green style!!
* The swap doesn't have to be limited to clothing, it can be school supplies, recipes, costumes, and much more!
* For each item you bring, you will receive a ticket. This ticket entitles you to get one item of your choice from the items on the racks!
* It is best if each person brings at least 10-15 items. However don't limit yourself you can bring as many items as you like as long as the items are freshly laundered and in gently used or like new condition.
* Each person should bring a covered dish/dessert. Please bring copies of the recipes used to make your dish.
* Each person is also asked to bring one "going green tip" or money saving idea to the party!
* All items left over and not chosen to be re-homed will be donated to a local charity. In our case this will be the local Airman's Attic!
* Be prepared to meet new people, and have tons of fun!!!!!!
